Copper + Cloves was founded by Sarah in 2017 as a brand to bring her vision of what eating and living well could mean. What started with small-scale events and bespoke catering has evolved into a engaged community and physical spaces, to showcase the best of plant-based eating and to bring people together though food, fitness, cooking.

  • We have a lovely cafe in Indiranagar, Bangalore

  • We deliver our healthy food all over Bangalore through our delivery platforms.

  • We have regular events at our cafe and with our fitness partners.

  • We offer bespoke catering for dinner parties and workplaces too.

  • We have a healthy meal subscription service for those who can’t face cooking!

We are on a mission to show that eating a plant-based diet can be exciting and satisfying and to celebrate produce that is local to India.

Delicious, plant-based recipes

Although we run a cafe and meal delivery service, we are still passionate about getting more people cooking! Some might say that seems counter intuitive, but we don’t think so. Copper + Cloves is more than cafe sales- it is about changing the way we think about food.

Cooking for yourself can be really joyful and the process is a chance to get creative, which so many of us lack in our day to day lives. Cooking something from scratch is also a way of really connecting with the food you put in your body. On this website you will find lots of simple recipes for vibrant, nourishing plant-based food. If you prefer cooking along to videos, we have loads of those too. Our recipes use ingredients that are locally grown and sustainably produced and are easy to find. Some of these recipes we incorporated into our cafe menu (our pea smash on sourdough remains a bestseller), so if you are in Bangalore, come along and try for yourself!

Simple nutrition and wellbeing advice

It’s a confusing world of wellness out there and we want to promote a more healthful way of living that is genuine and isn’t only about selling you products which you may or may not need. That is why on our website and across our social media platforms you will find uncomplicated, free advice on improving your health and wellbeing.

If you find contradictory diets and nutritional fads out there tiresome and confusing, we hear you. We want to simplify things- we focus on the power of slow, mindful eating and eating more plants. We don’t advocate calorie counting or diets- just eating a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, whole-grains, dals and beans, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices. This isn’t about rigid labels and militant rules- it is all about learning to respond to your body’s cues and signals and eating real, whole foods.

Events, workshops and pop-ups

Sarah often says ‘community is the missing pillar of wellness’. When people think about becoming healthier, they often immediately think of food and fitness. At Copper + Cloves of course we believe in eating healthily- it’s at the very core of what we do- but we also believe that connection with others and feeling a part of a community will have just as high an impact on your overall wellbeing. That is why you’ll find several events at our cafe, every week! Our aim is to create opportunities for people to connect whilst also exploring a new skill.

We love showcasing delicious, nourishing plant-based foods at our healthy events like cooking workshops, yoga brunches, supper clubs and mindful retreats. We also run events on journalling, sketching, painting, perfume-making, gardening and general crafting! These ones are less about the food and more about engaging in an activity that gets us off our phones and to do something with our other senses!

The best place to keep up to date with everything happening at Copper + Cloves is through our amazing online community on Instagram.

The future

We are thinking big and we want to take this further- to push forward the plant-based movement in India, where we all reconnect with local, sustainable ingredients, rediscover the joy of cooking and understand how good we are actually meant to feel.
